Roof Valley Replacement Sydney

What a roof valley does
The valley is the channel where two roof slopes meet, and it carries more water than any other part of the roof. When a valley iron rusts through or fills with debris, water runs into the roof instead of off it. Bayfront Roofing replaces old valleys with new Colorbond valley irons and re-beds the tiles along each side.

Signs your roof valleys need replacing
Look for rust holes or orange staining along the valley, water marks on the ceiling near an internal corner, or tiles that have slipped into the valley. Older valleys are often too narrow and shallow for heavy Sydney storms, so they overflow even when they are clean.
Areas we cover
Our team is based in Revesby and replaces roof valleys across south-west Sydney, including Padstow, Panania, Milperra, Liverpool, Glenfield, Ingleburn and Minto.
Roof valley FAQs
How do you replace a roof valley?
We lift the tiles along both sides, remove the old valley iron and fit a new one with the right overlap and fall. The tiles are then cut, refitted and bedded so water runs cleanly down the valley and into the gutter.
Can a rusted valley be patched?
Small holes can sometimes be sealed as a short-term fix, but rust usually keeps spreading. Replacing the valley iron is the lasting repair.
Do you do small jobs?
Yes. No job is too small, even a single short valley.
