What is the difference between bedding and pointing?
Bedding is the mortar that holds the capping tiles in place. Pointing is the top layer that seals it. Older roofs often need both redone.
How long does re-pointing last?
Done properly, new pointing lasts for many years. We grind back the old pointing first so the new pointing bonds to the tiles and keeps the roof watertight.
Do you do small jobs?
Yes. No job is too small, even a few metres of ridge capping.
